Finished the additional outlets tonight.
I quickly discovered that the centre outlet needed to be a 4x4 box as having conduits coming in both sides ate up most of the internal space! Luckily home depot had an ample supply of these too.
I have to patch some drywall beside this extension box as the builders ut it way too wide and just hid their slop with a plastic duplex cover.

I think sometime this summer I'll run one from the garage outlet area and down the other side for a compressor plug (15A).

Update time! Wow it's been nearly 3 years since I updated this thread.
I duplicated my outlet additions on the other side of the garage, stealing power from the light switch.
Aside from that not much has changed with the garage, but the big news is that we're moving. I know, I know, after saying we have no plans to move we found a house we couldn't pass up and next thing we know ours is up for sale!
You'll be happy to know that the new houses' garage is a HUGE upgrade. It's a two car with a vaulted ceiling on the back half of the garage.
The possibilities in this new found space have me dreaming up many things, but progress will being Spring 2018!
I guess I should start a new thread for the new place, i'll be sure to cross link these though!
