Does anyone know the exact application for these pliers? They have very fine tips that are shrouded when expanded. Would seem to be a specialty tool.

Milbar makes safety wire tie pliers for most other tool manufacturers. I wonder if those are a very early version of safety wire pliers. How long are they?

You could try posting in the vintage section where they should get more interest. Or mods could move this post.
