quite a few years ago, milbar made a pliers like tool for removing and installing the retainer clip on roller chain master links. i have been trying to source one but they appear to have been discontinued. i know that milbar has changed to stride but still have not had any luck with my search. the milbar model number was 52z.

anybody know of a place to source one or have one laying unused and neglected in the back of a drawer or bottom of a tool box.

i have not seen those in person but they come up on every search. if you do a google image search one picture of them will show up from a place called aviall but they do not have them in stock. the milbar has a feature to pull the ends of chain together to insert the master link. i have had a pair of the milbar in my hands years ago and have never seen another. the milbar are what i really want.
