i think even my one is more secret than these one´s!
My one is not on GPS, its just a field and the street does not have a name because its for the farmers around!
From the outside it looks like a bit of forest with a fence around, in google earth you cannot see them with the tree´s on top...

Maybe i must try to get a "Secret Bunker" Sign.... :bounce:
I would like to see the face of the Sign fabricator!!! ""SECRET???"" :headscrat

Small update...

I reorganized the workbench, the toolboard from the otherside is now hanging over the bench, thats much better.
In the past i worked on the other side, thats the reason why this second work area where, now its one place!

As u can see behind the Car, i added a rim to wind up the cable, and i added mounts to sort the rollboard and the ramps!

Wolf1.jpg

Its getting better in there, but slowly. :)

-I am searching for a nice way to store the cloth, but i still want to grab them without opening something.
-i had to make space for a spareengine and a gearbox.
-and i need a watercanister with a valve to wash my hands.

so little things to do, this winter i will be often there so its time to sort that stuff out!

i am open for any god ideas to my problems!

Very cool, My buddy has a HAS Hardened Aircraft Shelter on former Bitburg Flugplatz. I spent many a day hanging ECM's on F16 and A10 as a Contractor while I was living at Spangdahlem.

Nice set up too bad there is no room for a lift. I miss living there and would buy a former Cold War site just because it's kinda cool.

Where I live now were are surrounded by disused WWII and later airbases, a lot of the old hangars have been turned over to commercial uses and are still very much in use, some are WWII vintage but many are the tunnel style hardened cold war era ones. In fact in my local town there is an industrial park that was formerly Aston Park US Army munitions depot during WWII and most of the original large quonset style huts are still very much in use.

Lots of the farms around here have old nissen huts bought as surplus after the war and indeed one of my outbuildings has steel framed windows that are very much ex WWII military base rused.

Hello together,

long time ago since the last update.

a lot has changed, but not the location...

I swaped my Daily to a Focus ST, and also my Project car has changed.
I was getting bored of painting and moding all bits of the ****** for the 10th time, so a change was wiched.

I searched for something older uniquer and cooler.
So i found a 81 Ford Capri V6 2,8L with mech Injection in faboules condition.

Some pics of it!

Cheers Mark

The Winter is near the end, and a lot of work had been done.

I did
-renew the stoneship under the complette car, incl. lowerarea of enginebay.
-overhaul the Frontbumper incl. tubes and wires.
-swaped the exhaust middle silencers from each side (somebody swaped them from left and right!)
-overhauled the seats, the mechanics where dry and needed paint and grease.
-some wiring improvement (lowering old Contactresistence issues!), lights and funktions are much stronger now!
-and i am busy on the fueltank, there is rust inside and it needs a paint on the outside.
-i organized some stainless steel Fueltank mounts, what would look great and can be seen from behind...

Soon i will post some pics again!

Have a nice day...

That is very cool. I would like to be able to bunker down and not be easily removed from my shed for periods of time... no matter what bombardment I might be under from the wife. lol.

In my town is an Cold War Nike missile base. It has been a park since I was a kid. Once us boys snuck down into it, there was enough slack in the chain around the door for us to wiggle in and I've wanted it ever since.

That is a very nice place you have to work. You must have a "sense of safety" while working in there!

Time for an update...

The next winter is coming, and this year i will try to reduce the costs of diesel for heating.
So the idea of a diy oven came up.

I wanted to have a oven with a massive long heating pipe in the bunker to use as much of the energy as possible...

And this is what i have done.
i organized a leaking Compressor Tank for free...

From the beginning..

i cuted away the stands, and welded one of them to the side, this will be the bottom in the future.
After this i cuted out a door and welded some hinches on them.. and manufactured an easy Handle to open and look the door.

i used industry kitchen pipes i got for free from the srapper for my exhaust..

the only thing i had to buy where this 90degree knees, what costs me around 15eu, so not even 20dollars for the whole thing...

in the meantime the blue powder coating burned away and i sprayed black exhaust paint over it, it works fine and get around 280 degrees on the outside... :eyecrazy:

So the winter can come now!

Have a nice Day...

Nice repurposing of a compressor tank.

If you'd put the exhaust flue slightly to the side you could have added a hot plate on top to put the kettle on (or a frying pan to have fry up).;)

How did the "Earth Rocket" work out?

Here, we have specialized contractors equipped to do this sort of thing. One of my friends does it. He can drill under a sidewalk or an Interstate highway.

Sorry for the late response, i was building a massive RC Airplane in the meantime..

The Earth Rocket works with compressed air, there is a heavy piston in it, that kicks hard to the front.
With every kick it runs a few cm forward, and dew to the wheight and the power it even does this through hard ground..

i hope this helps you..

Cheers Mark

The answer is both.
It is only 10km away, and there is nothing around.
Only Forest and Farmland...

Hello everybody,

Again quite a few days are gone since the last update.
I upgraded my Bunker with an Mobile Lift system.
And the Capri got a nice fitting cover.

A lot of small things have been done.
-Powdercoated a new identical set of aloys
-organized a second power steering and overhauled thisone.
-ordered a bunch of reproduced rubber parts all around the vehicle.
and a lot more...

The Winter is coming again, the DIY Heater still works like crazy and sometimes it has a nice red glowing color :thumbup:

Have a nice Week...

Greetings from Germany!
