Here's an interesting find... A set of government issue SAE ratchets. I don't believe I've ever seen them before and was wondering if any of you fellas have the goods on...

I believe they are made by Stride Tool / Imperial.
They call them "Kwiktite" wrenches.

Back in my working days I bought a set for use at work. I worked in the oil/chemical industry on pilot plants and these are great for working on tubing.
You can just flip the mouth open, put it around the tubing and then slide it onto the nut and tighten or loosen. They're nice too because the equal pressure exerted all around the perimeter on the nut.
IIRC about 15 or so years ago Snap-on or Mac had them.
Huh thats funny back then I was a mechanic for Laidlaw Waste Hauling.yes i think all the trucks had them. MATCO introduced them 20 years ago, i sold several sets to the guy's that worked on trash trucks. they liked them for hydraulic lines.
