Been lurking around for a year figured time to say hi

Well the title suggests my interest although I love classic cars too.

Just finishing a 42 Willys Jeep, previously did a Land Rover Defender Wolf. Dont have a fancy garage I'm afraid far from it but hopefully one day it will get extended.

Very inspirational site

Welcome! I love the Willys restoration, and would love to see the Land Rover you've done too. Fancy garage or not, you can join everybody in the spirit of working in your space and enjoying it.

Got any more pics of the process on that Jeep?

That Willys looks awesome. I have always wondered how common are the old Willys jeeps on the UK? I know around here they are super easy to find if you want one but I would imagine a M-38 or GPW would be hard to come by in the UK.

I must say that even though you don't have a 'fancy garage', your garage has produced some mighty fancy work! Well done.

I think you really should do a thread on your garage as it is; where you work is of interest to us, especially seeing what you work on makes the garage all the more appealing. It's a good lesson to all of us that you don't need to own a GarageMahal to create something we all can admire and aspire to.

P.S. - Are you going to do the canvas on the Willys? Did you do the canvas work on the LR?

Kind words guys thanks.

Joshua you have some nice vehicles there, an M37 would be nice.

Scoutguy, theres still plenty of MB and GPW's here as most came to England in WW2 but most have been restored. Projects tend to come from France or the USA. M38A1s tend to be Nekaf variants from Holland.

Ompalo maybe I'll do something on the garage in the future, I tend to feel like an underdog with such a small garage, everything is harder to do, the recent snow and cold made it very tough, its all good though I enjoy working there like you say.

It makes sense to buy the canvas as its pretty cheap and focus time on other jobs, the last summer was basically 4 months of welding...
