Hi All,
Recently upgraded to a CNC mill and for my first project machined up some storage racks for the tooling.
I used to keep most of my mill tooling in drawers under the bench but that usually meant they ended up all over the top of the bench. In an effort to try and be a little more organized I've started making storage racks for everything.
It's been a fun exercise in learning to drive the CNC mill while making something useful at the same time.
Here's the racks for the R8 tool holders
With some room to expand...
One thing I'm enjoying about this CNC machine is once the program is written it's easy enough to knock out multiples or tweak the program for other tools.
Here a couple of racks for ER40 collets.
Working on racks for my R8 collets and Morse taper drills next. Hopefully this will help me to stay a bit more organized and make stuff easier to find.
Cheers
Mike
