Been having lots of porosity issues with my welds.

Miller 175 MIG, pulled back the whip sheath to see this.

Easy fix? Upgrade?

Let me hear all my options. I have heard about some Tweeco whip, does this still use Miller Tips and Nozzles? Or cheaper consumables overall?

I have used the miller 110 guns for years and that is a direct result of winding the whip up to tight on the machine. Try to keep it looser in storage and it will like you a whole bunch better. As far as your question goes early on I repaired several. Takes a couple of hours to fix but very doable. Easier though to just buy a new one.
good luck,
Dave

M-10 guns ****.

I tried a Parweld after my M-10 fell apart, always was really finicky about feeding right out of the box and consumables were annoying.

I swapped to a Bernard Q150 as recommended above, much better. Feeds well and the trigger doesn't fall out.

If you want a new mig gun , thats fine. But, uh, the gas doesn't travel through the fine copper wires. The gas travels through the center around the liner. If your gun doesn't get hot when welding, you can run it a bit longer. Look elsewhere for porosity solution. Post some photos. Most mig problems are wire related.

Those Amazon Master weld Miller copies any good? $55 for a mig gun is pretty damn tempting.

Tregaskis mig guns made for Miller are just fine. If your trigger falls out it is because you turned the 1/8 turn retainer. Your whole gun comes apart. Electrical tape is an easy fix. Some people hate Bernard goofy contact tips and handle shape. Profax makes a better Tweco type than tweco does. Pretty much any gun works ok if you pay attention. Profax can make every mig in your shop use the same tip and nozzle.
