Miller is asking all of its dealers to clearance out the Millermatic 180's. They are around $830 with a free auto darkening helmet, gloves and jacket at Norco dealers in the NW.

Interesting. Wonder if they are dropping the 180 class machine altogether or if a new 180 is coming.

Probably releasing an ever so slightly updated machine with an arc that is just a hair smoother, and 2 amps more output from a 120 circuit than the previous version. :)

I always thought the MM 180 was one of Miller's best kept secrets. It's $200 less than the 211 and other than not having 110V capability, appears to simply be a rerated 211. Both weigh the same and major components appear identical. I knew I'd never use a welder on 110V and didn't care about small increase in rating, so the 180 was an easy choice.

Good insight.. It's almost like ishiboo works for Miller ;)

For another $170 you're in the Lincoln MP210 with more ***, a better warranty and multi purpose. I wouldn't pay over $650 for a new Miller 180 at this point.
