Found this deal over on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/151715601590?_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Submitted a best offer of $650, It was declined. Hit em back with $700 and they accepted the offer. Seems like they have at least another 7 to move if not more. Didn't really need another welder but now i can leave this machine set up with .030.

I know the $200 rebate is going on and some bought this welder from Zoro using the 30% off along with the rebate. To me this was a better deal as i'm not paying state sales tax from Zoro and from my math it comes out cheaper on my end.

I'm not sure they'd honor a warranty from "a guy on eBay"? It's a long one too, five years.

Also watch out for customs fees. Let us know how it goes.

He is only netting around $652 after fees and shipping. What was the price from Zoro after rebate and % off?

@ $700, he is only netting $569ish

Does Zoro Canada even do 30% off flash sales?

I think you're trying to force a situation here. He's selling another Miller and a Hypertherm plasma cutter. Sounds like he's just clearing some inventory, not trying to game the system.

Not sure if they do or not.

I did shoot the seller an email to see if he was a miller dealer. Looks like he's sold quite a few of these machines according to his feedback.

Miller made way too many 211's and they're in the process of changing over to inverter powered units. i saw 211's with spool guns for $750.

Where did you see units with spool guns that cheap?

Also, seller just accepted my offer of $600! .... just read through the rest of the thread and realized it's shipping out of Canada. I've never had to deal with customs, will this be pricey?

I don't think we'll have to worry about taxes. Ususally that's done on the shipper's end. Here's something i just pulled from FedEx's website.

Edit: Not so sure about that now. After reading on ebay it looks like the buyer is responsible as long as the seller declares it.

Please note: As per the contract of carriage with FedEx®, the shipper is ultimately liable for any duties and taxes assessed on the shipment. If the recipient refuses the package or the recipient or third party FedEx account holder refuses to pay for duties and taxes, the original shipper will be billed for duties and taxes.

I threw out an offer. If I get it, my MM180 might need a new home!

....Or, I'll probably just keep it :lol_hitti

A couple of years ago they were more than that used. Not bad prices on the Hypotherm either. That 211 might make a decent little upgrade over my 140.

Anyone have offers accepted? Care to share how cheap you got these?

I noticed that the seller increased the quantity he had for sale. There were 6 when I made my offer, and it seems that he has accepted/sold 11 since the OP started this thread. I also noticed that there have been 16 offers declined. This would be AWESOME to get for $500!

Wow, only 2 left, 11 sold in last 24 hours!

I noticed when clicking on the ?mark next to free shipping it brought up this:

International Shipping - items may be subject to customs processing depending on the item's declared value.
Sellers set the item's declared value and must comply with customs declaration laws.
As the buyer, you should be aware of possible:
- delays from customs inspection.
- import duties and taxes which buyers must pay.
- brokerage fees payable at the point of delivery.

Your country's customs office can offer more details, or visit eBay's page on international trade.

That made me shy away, But................he does have excellent feedback even from buyers from the US.

I offered $1200 on the Hypertherm and he accepted.

I noticed he had good feedback also from the previous ones sold. With that I'm hoping there's isn't any fee's to be had.

So I can buy the welder in the ebay ad and get $200 off from Miller with a rebate or get a free spool gun through Miller? Is that what's going on?

Man this has me thinking about upgrading my miller 180 just to get the spool gun and autoset.... Looks like my cover and cart would even work with the 211.

Wonder what I could get out of the 180, it looks like brand new...

I dont think Miller will accept an ebay seller for this rebate, I would hate to chance a $200 rebate....IMHO

this is cheaper than buying from an authorized dealer even with the spoolgun and rebate.

the spoolgun and rebate are icing on the cake if they work with this deal.

Who knows if this will work. I emailed the seller and got this reply:
=========================================
I am not a dealer but I have the original receipts (from original Miller dealer) that I will include with welder if you pay, you will be able to use those receipts to get the goodies Miller is offering these days,

Cheers
