Miller Build Blue Rebate Question.

Do you need the welder serial number to be listed on the purchase invoice for the rebate to be processed by Miller?

I believe so. I had issues with a rebate on a recent purchase. I ended up emailing back and forth with them, but got it worked out.

Another question. For the additional rebates, will any miller accessory count toward the $150, $300, $500 rebate levels?

IOC Welding Supplies emailed me back today and said "We don't have a copy with the serial number on the invoice and Miller does not require it to be on the invoice". I filed the rebate online and will update this post when I hear from Miller.

I'd reach out to Miller to confirm, but when I used the promotion (September 2015) all Miller accessories (including Hobart) were eligible. My rebate was $400 with $400+ of accessories, so I got a spool gun, Hobart Maxal aluminum wire for the spool gun, and a bunch of MIG/spool gun consumables...total was $400.96

Paid for the machine + a whopping $0.96 for all of the accessories once I received the rebate check.
