I have a chance to buy a Maxstar 200 with no accessories that is not not working. Owner states it does not turn on. Make offer. What kind of offer would be reasonable?

The maxstar 200 is a good welder in the way that it has some good Tig functionality (dc only) and can run on anything from 110 to 480 1ph or 3ph. That being said it's not the current model and could be up to 15 years old to my knowledge (maybe older). I'd probably start off at 250 and go from there.

Agreed, don't get too deep into it. It's definitely a good machine when running .but there are good cheap machines with more options available now WITH 3 years warrantees.
