I have what looks to be a transmission service kit made by Miller Tool Co of Detroit - at least that's what it looks like to me based on the variety of seal drivers and small bearing pullers, all of which look very specialized.

I was hoping someone could identify this more accurately - this came from my uncle's garage and he was a big Mopar fan and everything I've found online says they built specialty tools for Mopar cars and trucks.

Hoping someone can identify it further.....and maybe give me guidance on what it's worth?

All the tools are marked C- something, C-496, C-625, C-613 etc. C for Chrysler?

The tools look ancient. From a practical point of view, these tools are useless if they can only be used for an obsolete application that not even classic vehicle enthusiasts would need. As collector's item, that I have no idea.

I figure they are from the 50's, that's when my uncle's shop was the most active.....I would just like to know what they're for.....a 727 Chrysler transmission, or the old 4 speed Hydramatic?

Miller did and probably still does make quality dealership specialty tools. I have some Mopar tools they made in the 1990s.

There's a member in this thread...

...that has some old Miller catalogs. Perhaps you can get a hold of him via his email in the first post and he may have more info.

Thank you! I sent him the pics and info I have, appreciate the tip. I'll see if he replies.

Miller was the factory service tool supplier for Chrysler for many years.could be for any transmission from the fifties through the eighties.

Most are tools for late 40's early 50's MoPar cars.
Most are for servicing the Fluid Drive Coupling.
Pilot bushing puller, bellows seal and driven plate wrenches, clutch pilot shafts, etc.
It's very time consuming to look these up in the Miller tool books.
I have lots of these tools...slim market for most.

I was hopeful that they were a set, because of the box with the built in separators for the different drivers and such?

Interesting large tool storage set up C39er! Looks like you have them all!

Miller boxes except for the old olive green boxes (gray) have the Miller kit number on them.
I have the FD tool kits in the original boxes.
Does look to be a old green original Miller tool box but looks to have misc other adapter sleeves etc.
You don't show the driven plate pullers... 2 required to service the FD couplings. There looks to be the dodge truck shackle shaft removal tool too. So there is a mix of trans and coupling tools.
A pic of a old olive green Miller brake tool kit in the box....

Did you ever get answers to your Tool Identifications? I think I still have one of these 50s Miller catalogs. I just have to figure out where I put it.
