Local CL ad has a Miller Trailblazer 302 for $1000. This seems way underpriced, but the ad is written in normal English and the guys say come try before you buy. What could possibly go wrong?

Not yet. I have no need for one, but maybe could flip it for profit after I'm done with a few small projects. The low price sounds too good to be true. I'm wondering if it could have issues that he's not admitting to, but I'm not familiar with gas powered welders. Says it has a Lincoln feeder. I appears no cables or accessories are included.

I once bought a Legend for way less than value from a guy who was desparate to pay his lawyer. Pawn shop offered him scrap price. It happens.

How many hours?

Sometimes people just get desperate for cash. I'd try it out and run the serial number to make sure it's not stolen, but $1000 isn't that out of the realm for a high hours unit.

I see a lot of those in my area. I tried to contact a few of
Them and the never respond. Since I have begun assuming it's a scam and reporting. The machine is worth twice that assuming it works.

I saw one of these listing saying it included a spare roll of flux core wire but there was no wire feeder with the machine so no reason to have the wire. Made me think it was so one who knew nothing about welding trying to scam someone.

I bought a MM141 brand new in the box for $400. Guy had no qualms about exposing his identity or anything else that would lead me to believe it was stolen. He said he never used it and just got tired of looking at it and wanted it gone. Sounded too good to be true. Only think different from the ad when i got there was that he threw an 11lb spool of wire in with it also new in original packaging. Stranger things have happened. Good luck!

I bought my 325 Trailblazer for $1250 with 41 hers on it at an auction. I had looked at the online listing with the video of it running and the hr meter. The video showed it in a cargo trailer against the wall. The day of the auction, they came to it and the auctioneer said I'm not sure how to start it, so we will sell it as it is. They started at $2500 and backed up to $1000 before taking my bid. Deals are out their, if you are not looking.

The OP is in Chicago and I am seeing the same CL ad here in Jersey and I'm pretty sure its a scam.
I usually check CL over 4 states almost daily and I have seen this same ad in all 4 states for the last week or so.

If you are seeing the same ad all over, it's gotta be a scam.
