Miller Welding Helmet with X-Mode

I’m debating between a couple different Miller welding helmets, for hobby use. The Elite has “X-mode” to eliminate sunlight interference. I do occasionally weld outdoors so I’m wondering if anybody has any experience with X-mode and if it’s is worth the extra cost. The Miller info doesn't really explain how X-mode works.

i use a miller pro-hobby, and weld outside without any problems.

Giving this a bump....hoping to hear from someone that has used the X-mode feature......anybody?
