millermatic 200 problem

my millermatic 200 has alot of spatter,the contactor is slow,and i has power on the side of the tip when i touch it even trigger is not pulled.thanks for the response...

It sounds to me that the gun may have a short.

unplug the trigger lead at the front of the power source. If your problem goes away you have a stuck trigger. If it is still arcing, the problem is internal.
