You can still get most parts. A black front face would indicate a newer machine. If it's in decent condition and welds good, it's worth the asking price.

Yes and yes.

That's one of the best wire welders Miller ever made, and you can still get parts for them.

Well worth $900.

Its ok, its a great machine but very old. Nearest thing to it cost class is a Hobart IM230 at about 1500 new. It would need to be in the 750 range before it would interest me a lot, a steal at 500

I would say it’s in the mm252 class.

I bought mine for $550 with a newer style miller gun on it. I cant comment on how well it welds because Ive only ran some test beads.

General comments I found from research before I bought mine.
1: everyone seems to love these welders.
2: The later ones are the most desirable because they have the current miller spool gun plug.
3: the original gun isn't that great and consumables are expensive.
4: the yellow plug will eventually get brittle so having backups is a good idea.
