I picked up this really great Millers Falls anvil drill vise combo today at an estate sale. The man was very old before he passed away and had some really high end vintage tools there. I usually would not by a vise anvil combo but this is like no other I have ever seen. It is a very quality built piece and weighs about 75 pounds. Its one of those things when you see it you just have to have it. There cant be too many of these left and the guy took care of his tools as this is in such great shape.

I don't think you'd find many of these even in the worst condition but yours seems to complete and in excelent shape.

Just saw your grinder & now this. That had to be one heck of an estate sale for anyone into tools. Nice score on both & like you, no way I would have left either one behind.

Someone was putting the Millers Falls logo on cheap ChiCom tools being sold at OSH, Orchard Supply Hardware, OSH is a hardware chain in CA that was bought by Sears, sold again, went in bankruptcy, & now owned by Lowes. (Wish they would dump Craftsman).

LOVE the unique design with drill press and anvil.

That's most especially a lifetime keeper with a special place in your shop.

Seems like a nice tool. You'd clamp your work piece in the vice, swing the drill over to the proper location, release the set screws allowing the vertical
movement to bore through?
