Don't cheap out on a milling vise. Look for vintage USA or Japanese.

If the vise doesn't hold, you risk your tooling and your workpiece.

I have been using an ENCO copy of the Kurt vise for years. No problems
I have heard that some of them are a little rough and benefit from taking apart, a little devouring and then a good lube. But mine is still nice and smooth

I'd get a Kurt. If you look on craigslist and eBay, you can usually snag one for about $250 used.

If you can find a used Orange, they're also top notch.

Most mill/drills will not handle a 6" vise very well so check dimensions of what your buying and the work envelope you have to work in. Dimensions of vises are listed in the two links Jek listed. I'd suggest that you get a 4" WITHOUT a swivel base.

no neat sig line

I have a 6" Kurt on my enco mill drill and like it. It is a bit large but its standard size and won't have to upgrade when I get a full size mill.

Exactly what I have on my Bridgeport - zero issues, had it for about 5 years now. Now I want to put a second one beside it!
