Can i use my anular bits ran of my mag drill to do milling work? ie end mill small tubing to a pipe fitting or possibly a slot in a piece of plate.

Nope.

That's a recipe for broken tools and a bad day.

Annular cutters are NOT designed for milling. Just hole making.

I use annular cutters in my Bridgeport regularly to cut holes and cope pipe by running a Weldon:R8 adapter. However, this is for vertical cutting ONLY.

Annular cutters will not stand up to side load at all; that will at the very least destroy the cutter. If you're trying to mill slots you'll need, well, a mill.

Slot in piece of plate.....
The annular cutter should do a great job of chain drilling a series of overlapping holes, Clean up to slot form with burr or file.....
