Getting back on some vehicle body work and got aggivated with the mess. The car is on a rotisserie and of course the tools get set down and when i rotate it rains tools. I switched to purple milton high flow fittings for the shop when i put in the air system and was having an issue finding a hanger that the fitting would be able to hang from. Got a few and they were too small so i put my new bender to work with some 16ga steel. Still working on the rolling bench set up so not fully welded but i'm loving having everything in one place as well as the 4 types of grinding i seem to be using.

Looks good. the only thing I would suggest is making a shield or something to go over it, so that junk doesn't get down the insides of them. I hang mine upside down like this as well, but under a shelf to keep **** from falling on them. May not be a huge concern though.

Definitely a huge concern as this cart will be only a few feet from me and cutting/grinding for hours. Never even occured to me. All that fine grit would have destroyed them in quick order. Golf tees and foam ear plugs will have to do for now. Maybe a top cover like a wall mounted mailbox will work and be easy enough to raise and lower.
Once again you guys saved me from disaster. Thanks to both of you

I like the hinge idea like a mail box slot! could even put a light weight spring on it so that you can't accidentally forget to close it.

Exactly my thoughts but did not want to admit how lazy i am. Definitely will close on its own and i know i will be in such a rush to get work done i wont do it.

I had some 1"X1" aluminum bar drilled and tapped it for 1/4" pipe and got a bunch of quick couplings from HF installed into the
bar and hung it under my work bench. That is where all my air tools reside now

I stole the idea from my MAC Tool dealer, that is how all of the air tools were displayed
in his truck, really convient and keep the dust and debri out of the tools

At work I use the caps that come off of some of our cutters. They don't use that style container any more but, the big Box stores sell a variety of sizes (and some colour choices) for wire shelves used in the closet organization shelves dept. Princess Auto used to sell caps with a tether, keywords "used to" further google fu may bring some joy. Harry
I/M & Aro fittings use a 5/16" ID cap the purple ones IDK.
