? Milwaukee 12v vs. 18v multi-tool

I’m in the market for a multi-tool and would like you guys opinion on the 18v as opposed to the 12v version. Currently all my battery stuff is m18 but would consider 12v. Just occasional use. Fuel only or is non fuel pretty decen?

If youve already got M18 batteries but no M12, then the M18 version would be a no-brainer.

That is my thoughts too. If you are already into one battery size, why all another for one tool? Now I might answer that differently if you were going to add a munch of M12 tools, but for one? Stay with M18.

I wouldn't add a battery platform unless the deal is really sweet. Since M18 chargers can do both, it isn't a big deal, but for occasional use it doesn't seem worth it.

I wouldn't bother with a non-FUEL, but...

I’ve seen and used the m12 and m18 on different jobs commercially and couldn’t tell any appreciable difference between them, when I got one for the house I went with the m18 out of convenience and simplicity.

Got both in FUEL. I only buy FUEL tools in Milwaukee and brushless in Makita. I have both M12 and M18 batteries in spades. If you're only M18 I see no reason to get the M12. The only advantage of the M12 is it's smaller.
