Milwaukee 18v saw issues...

I have a Milwaukee 18v circular saw, model # 2830-20. I went to use it a few days ago, the blade will start spinning, but almost immediately stop. It won't turn long enough to get up to speed, and I initially thought it might be the battery...except I've tried 3x others and its still doing the same thing.

It *might* still be under warranty, have to email Milwaukee, just curious if this is a common issue with the saws.

My M18 saw was just in the shop for intermittent failure and they replaced the trigger.

I had the same problem and fixed it a couple of weeks ago by changing the switch.

Mine was the 7-1/4 fuel.

At the time, these guys were the cheapest.

I had similar on my circular saw and my impact driver. It did what yours is doing for a bit, then stopped spring altogether. bot fixed under warranty both the trigger.

I'm a Milwaukee fan boy but will admit the triggers are not the greatest quality. I've sent in a M12 bandsaw, M18 impact driver, and a SuperHawg for trigger replacement. I've had other failures out of warranty, but tossed 'em in the trash and bought new.

I'm going to call Milwaukee tomorrow and see if its still under warranty...maybe I will get lucky. If not, I'll try a replacement trigger.
