Milwaukee 2103 using Pale Blue batteries

I have a 2103 head lamp. I like it, its light weight, I can wear it for hours, but it does go through batteries. I tried Pale Blue rechargeable and seems like I can measure battery life in minutes. Anyone find the Pale Blues are not very good? And they get very very hot, and I'm thinking do I want lithium ion batteries around my fore head. Anyone have the Milwaukee rechargeable headlamp?

I do. Works well. USB chargeable. Cost about $60 but I think I got it on a deal from Home Depot.
