$239 and the MIL25 code is supposed to work for $25 off:

I paid $228 for mine on a Zoro sale. Retail is allegedly $300

Before anyone grumbles, [combo of naggy wife voice and little brat voice]"It's still way too expensive, no light is worth that!![/combo of naggy wife voice and little brat voice].......I don't disagree. Milwaukee is damn proud of many of their lighting options and I'm not sure it's justified.

$225 if you buy it with the M18 One-Key kit at Home Depot. maybe an extra step returning the kit, but you could have it today!

I ended up getting the Stand Light w/ starter Kit for ~120, and am very pleased with that purchase. Very glad I went out shopping last Wednesday night

No worries... I also confirmed it worked on the tripod light.

Did you take yours out and play with it? errr, the light that is. I'm not sure if I'm having an issue with mine. It seems one of the locking collars does nothing for me. One allows the light go up farther, but the other just unlocks and doesn't allow for travel at all. I thought I should be getting another foot of it or so.

I had to stick the light in the attic for now, so will be a minute before I think I can look at it again.

Would be interesting to know if you have the old or new collars. The old collars didn't lock well, so Milwaukee re-designed them. But this is the first I've heard of the opposite problem.

Milwaukee will not qualify the light for e-service free shipping, so my advice is to determine if it can be made to work to your satisfaction. If not, exchange at a HD. If you only have a "smaller" HD they will almost surely only have these for the holidays. My store is small, and right now they have the lights in the race track, but they simply don't have floorspace to keep them year round.

I don't have much sympathy for Milwaukee in this instance; it can't be that hard for a conglomerate like them to build a telescoping mechanism that works relatively well

edit: the irony is that the folding tripod legs are sweet, and that's WAY more complicated than making a tube slide in another tube!
