Preface - I have $1,000 or so sunk in Milwaukee power tools ... I don't own any Dewalt tools.
So I get that the 21700 batteries that Milwuakee is developing will have more capacity with higher efficiency, but ultimately they will be designed to deliver the same current (amps) as their current batteries, right?
Flexvolt batteries, on the other hand, can offer 3x more current than any M18 battery, right?
I know it's more complicated than that, but I don't get how 21700 batteries will enable Milwaukee (even at x2) to deliver the power needed to compete with Flexvolt. Do you disagree?
(P.S. I concede that Milwaukee knows more about this than I ever will.)
