Milwaukee 2663 1/2" impact owners

They don't make a specific protective boot for this model. Milwaukee Tech line confirmed this, and couldn't recommend a boot that would fit. Has anyone installed a boot on this impact designated for a different model with good results?
The 2762/63/66/67 have different nose cones.

Not that I've seen... and it's not just the nose that's different. It's an entirely different impact.
