Toolup is doing BF "Part 2"

The one that caught my eye was the 2754 for $119. MIL20 gets you $20 off taking it to $99. BUT once again shipping eats up most of that $20; for me it was $13.85 FedEx ground. So $112.85 to my door for a new 2754 from an actual retailer (vs an ebay private re-seller - - not that I checked ebay so I can't say what going rate is there) seems good to me.

I already have the 2654 which I love but of course I have to have the latest model. Now I have to buy a $$$ boot for this! First World Problems....

ok, just did a quick check on ebay. This seems like a real good deal. Most ebay prices are $145-$160. There's a pawn shop selling a NIB for $135 but doesn't including shipping, another pawn shop selling a bare tool for $119 plus shipping - - holy **** he wants $21.45 "expedited shipping." Condition: USED

I didn't scroll thru ALL the listings, maybe there's a gem out there.

For anyone interested, these are being clearanced in the WV and PA area at Home Depot. The tag is marked $112 but they are ringing up $80. I was able to get both the 3/8 and the 1/2 version at this price.

If you need a basic brushed 12V 1/4" hex impact driver they're doing the 2462 at $34.99

Add a battery and charger to that for another $29.99

I don't have any Milwaukee stuff (yet) but have been very intrigued. This price makes it tempting to jump in and get my feet wet. Although I should probably stop buying things for myself until after Christmas.

That 2462 impact driver is one solid performer for a small 12v tool. Tough as nails.

It was my first Milwaukee cordless tool purchase a few years back. Original price at the time was $99 but HD had special on the -22 kit for just $79

Agreed. I've got the 2462 and it's great. I've got V1.0 - the 2450 which was my first M12 tool ever. It's still going strong as well, just doesn't look as **** as the re-designed 2462

instead of paying the shipping, wouldn't it make more sense to buy something else to get it over $200 and get the free shipping?

Sure...spend $100 to save $13

I'm reminded of a Married With Children where Peg was sure Al would understand she actually SAVED him money because everything she bought was on sale. :D

Not that I don't frequently use such logic w my (arguably unneeded) tool purchases!

I think of it more like a 13% discount to justify my tool purchases
