Can anyone recommend an economical LED bulb for the old Milwaukee light? For the price of the Milwaukee LED replacement bulb I could buy another Braun stock light from HF. When these came out they were great. 96925c5e2bc3030750ff09e6248ed95c.jpg

You will have to identify the size/type of bulb it has, and see if they are any drop-in replacements. The biggest issue will be cooling. Most of these incandescent lights are not setup to properly cool an LED, and the more powerful LEDs will have overheating issues and short lives.

Looks very similar to an M18 light I have but the battery doesn't say that to me.

That's what I'd go for if you are already invested in M18.

If you can measure the old bulb base, you can get the fixture shape designation, then add in the voltage, and see what comes up in a google search. You may find lots of cheap Chinese bulbs on ebay, or maybe a decent, known name brand, depends how much you want to gamble.

I’ve done a few this way, but never run them for long periods, never had an overheat problem.
