After a ridiculous amount of reading about screwdrivers and a bit of screwdriver fondling, I made the decision to go with the Husky Pro set. But when I went to Home Depot today to buy them, I saw the new Milwaukee screwdriver sets:
http://www.milwaukeetool.com/new-products/8-pc-screwdriving-set/48-22-2008

They look and feel like extremely high quality pieces. The set is $39 and includes #1 and #2 ECX for electrical connections, which I was going to buy separately. They even have wire strippers and wire bender holes built in!

Has anyone else seen or used these yet? I bought the Husky Pros because they're made in the USA (versus Taiwan for the Milwaukee set), but am now thinking of going back and buying the Milwaukees, also.

Just when I had made a decision. !@$%#! :wtf:

Are those screwdrivers, or chisels? The pictures in the ad all show someone smacking them with a hammer, and not anywhere near a screw.

As much as HD sometimes pisses me off, the Husky Pro drivers seem nice. They're USA made, too.

I'm 99% sure that the Milwaukee's aren't US made.

I have not used them. While I pretty much bleed Milwaukee red, I have nothing good to say about any of their foreign made bits, etc. I would be interrested in knowing how these hold up to professional use.

I saw those screwdrivers. They look impressive.

On a side note...
I met a milwaukee representative a few days ago at home depot. He had a bunch of new hand tools and bits in his tool box. My favorite the new 34 piece shockwave impact kit that includes a hex to 1/2 square adaptor plus a few impact drill bits. Apparently these new bits, screwdrivers, mini handsaws, and etc. will replace the dewalt line up you usually see on display at home depot. I got a feeling that these dewalt will be on clearance soon.

I saw those screwdrivers a HD a couple weeks ago when I was chasing the "bonus" M12 Milwaukee deal.

I'd like to give those ECX drivers a try. Is there ANYONE besides Milwaukee that's making them right now?
