I posted a preview of Milwaukee's new adjustable wrenches over on ToolGuyd today - http://toolguyd.com/milwaukee-adjustable-wrenches/ , and am curious to see what you guys think of them.

I had a chance to inspect them at Milwaukee's recent media event, nothing more.

I didn't notice anything revolutionary, but they did have some interesting features. I don't think they'll replace my Channellocks, but I'll definitely give them a try.

I think that Crescent is the main competitor in their crosshairs.

In your basement...seriously, go look now!
I like the six threads, should make opening and closing smoother. I also agree that they appear to be gunning for Crescent - while Channellock makes some good crescent-style wrenches that's not what they're known for but Crescent is.

My issue with Crescent is how quality is an over the place in recent years. Made in USA were clunky. Then made in China were smoother but imported. Then a new batch of USA made, with slight differences yet again. All in maybe 5 years.

Maybe I don't use mine enough, but I have a set (6+10") of the USA ones from before the China switch and they are solid and smooth. I've never had them self-adjust during use and the textured grip feels better to me than the smooth plastic on the China made ones.

The only reason I've ever considered another set is how much the Channellocks get talked about!

I really like my Channy Wide Azz wrench. And also the black textured one made in Spain. Are these at HD by now to check out?
