Milwaukee batteries

Will the batteries from the tool kit 2691-22 work in the 2763-20 tool? I just got the kit and was thinking of getting the tool, then later getting the bigger battery for the tool.

I thought so but I have never used them. Is there any reasons why not to use the small batteries in things like impacts?

they just wont last as long.. thats all.. some tools are power hungry so its just less trips back to the charger, and less aggravation when the smaller batteries discharge quickly.
