I don't go to HD very often so I don't know how long they have sold Milwaukee cabinets or benches. We have been doing some outdoor projects and went to HD on Friday afternoon and noticed them setting up a large display (various sizes) -- happen to take a look at the one that's sized like a Snap-On KLR with wood top. My memory was $695 ... Looked to be same quality as the HF boxes. When I went back last evening before dinner -- the display was almost empty! They had at least 10 of the wood top models ..... I was surprised. Maybe for fathers day gifts? The wood top model also came with a built in power strip ...

Maybe they moved the display to a different location? We've had them in our store for a while. But they did move them down past the contractor check out area after a while at the center stage everyone walks past.
Go online and check your local store inventory?
FWIW, HF quality is better.

Scott, what are you basing your last sentence on? I'm just curious. I've got an old C-man that I've had for years, and replaced it with a HF roller/box a couple years ago. It seemed to be as well built, or better than the C-man, but I didn't look at any other boxes.

Drawers feel better constructed on the HF, guides feel better. Keep in mind, this is just a pull out the drawer and slide it back in a few times. No scientific measurements, metal gauging going on.
But extending the drawer and then giving it a slight twist, the HF felt "tighter"

I was just in HD and noticed they have a bunch of new boxes. I didn't have time to really poke at any, but they sure looked decent and had many combinations up to pretty good size. If I had a need for a box, I'd be looking there.

My local HD carries Husky, DeWalt, Milwaukee and TCP (If I remember correctly - or some form of three letter word name).

They all feel about the same and it really much all comes down to drawer size/position preferences.

The Milwaukee and husky boxes come out of the same factory.

There was only the husky industrial one that actually have bottom channel for the casters
The other are just on a sheet metal bottom!
