Does anyone know if a M18 Super Hawg's 7/16" Quik-Lok chuck fits on the spindle of a keyed 1/2" 3107 RAD? The current Super Hawg has the same 38-50-0027 spindle for its keyed and Quik-Lok chuck versions, but the 3107 and Super Hawg have different 1/2" keyed chuck parts numbers. It's possible they're the same 1/2-20 threads but I don't know.
I emailed Milwaukee asking about the possible swap even though I pretty much knew they'd never let that cat out of the bag. Anticipating that, I also asked what threads sizes were used on their spindles. Their answer was "Thank you for your email. I went to engineering to attempt to get drawing specs for the spindle and output shaft and I was not able to get that proprietary information from engineering. Unfortunately, I am not able to provide you with the thread specs that you are requesting."
