Which one? There are 4 milwaukee vacs.

M12 dustbuster type
M18 teapot dyson looking thing
M18 wet/dry box vac
New M18 backpack vac.

All are good for their intended uses.

I use the M18 wet/dry vac on cars and around the garage and its awesome. I know people who use it on the job as well as the others also. The new backpack one is new and not out till October, but supposed to be great.

Yes, the M18 Wet/Dry vac is awesome... I use it all of the time. It actually gets used enough I've considered buying a 2nd one so I can keep 1 in the house and the other in the garage...

I have the older M18 wet/dry canister, and like it a lot.

Pros:
Great suction
Fairly easy to clean for a wet/dry vac.
The best wet/dry option in its class. I've used it with an upholstery extractor wand with great success.

Cons:
It's LOUD. Louder than a real shop vac.
The suction is great, but with a small hose, airflow is not great (i.e. it would make a lousy dust collector).
Battery run-time is pretty short (figure on 5-6 minutes on a good battery).

The newer ones (unlike mine) store the hose under the lid too. I wish mine did. I have however been able to hold a brush attachment under my lid.
