Milwaukee Deep cut portaband w/Swag table

I recently picked up a Milwaukee deep cut porta band with a Swag table and miter gauge. I noticed while splitting a knife scale that there is noticeable twist in the blade towards the shoe. This twist makes it seem impossible to get a straight cut on any stock that has any height to it and makes the miter gauge kind of useless. I have not really noticed this on my m12 portaband, but Ive only used it to cut pipe and strut so far.
Is blade twist normal on a portaband?
To those of you who have the same setup, have you found a fix or workaround?
