Milwaukee Fastback twin packs $10 at HD

The 2 packs of Fastback utility knifes are marked down to $10 I noticed today. I purchased one a couple years ago when they first came out and really like it. Had been debating picking up the twin pack for $15 so when I saw them at $10 I caved .

They are in the holiday gift section in a Milwaukee display with the tapes.

The absolute best folding box cutter out there, I have had this one from when they first came out and it has outlasted any other folding knife I have ever had.

And a little pro tip, the little lip by the belt clip works as the best bottle opener.

Why is your so blink blink? Was that the first gen type? Btw I love using my fastback (I don't like fastback II).

Exactly the opposite of my experience. A buddy got a 2-pack over the summer, and gave me one. They were both in the trash by the end of the day. Damned things couldn't even hold the blade in place. I'd recommend the cheapie HF knife over these things.

Just went down and got a 2 pack today to give them a try. Guess we will see if they hold up or not.

I've got at least 8 of these kicking around. One in each vehicle, one at 2 different workbenches in my shop, one in house and several in my box.

They DO allow the blade to float a little making them less than perfect for deburring machined acetal and UHMW, but I still use them for this & they work well enough.

Two reasons,. Its old and the powdercoat was beat to crud so I stripped it off. This also helps to tell it apart from other peoples knives at work because almost everyone carries one of these where I work now.

Same here, well I keep torturing myself with mine for some reason. Bought one for demo in a foreclosure and the blade pops out all the time.

Yeah. I can't believe Milwaukee put their name on such a piece of ****. My buddy was really pissed. He's all about that Milwaukee quality.
