I am looking for a cordless angle grinder and have many m18 and m12 tools. I don't have any m18 fuel tools though.

Currently I can find the 2680-20 (m18 non fuel) for around $109. The 2780-20 (m18 fuel) is around $169 (tool-only).

Should I get the fuel version ? I believe my current m18 batteries will work with it. I have corded grinders for very demanding work. But I like the convenience of a cordless on occasion.

Fuel, since the extra runtime of brush less is really useful for a grinder, which will blow through batteries.

Sounds like I should definitely go the fuel route. That is what I was thinking as well.
