Milwaukee hammer drill slipping/ratcheting

I have a Milwaukee 5263-20 hammer drill. I don’t use it much but it’s almost useless. If it’s under much load at all it just slips or ratchets. Anyone know if their is a clutch or anything inside that can be replaced?

Have you adjusted the external settings. There are speed and function settings that may be causing problems.

Chucks are known problem items on the older drills. I replaced a couple. The way you describe it, your issue is more than a check that is not gripping. That seems like an internal problem.
