Good morning,

I have a Milwaukee 1620-1 drill that I got from a friend's dad. Took it apart and fixed a bad connection, also bought a piece of pipe to replace the missing handle. Used it for a while, but when my housemate borrowed it one of the chuck jaws broke. Now I'm down the rabbit hole, I have a "new" (looks NOS but rusty) chuck for it, a new chuck key and holder (I broke the original, bent chuck key trying to get the chuck off), and I'm going to order a new cord for it too as the old one has no strain relief. Also going to order a new LHT screw for the chuck as the old one was completely missing (but I still had to use some, um, unorthodox methods to get the old chuck off, it was so tight. This is a well used tool, for sure.)

I'm thinking while I'm in there I should clean and repack the gearbox. This document

says that I should use "Milwaukee Type A" grease which appears to just be a general purpose grease. Any harm in instead using something like Mobil 1 chassis grease as I have the latter laying around already and therefore don't have to order it? Or are there brass parts that would be harmed by EP additives? Thanks!
