I had my eye on the tool chest for a while but felt that the price would come down if I waited. Fast forward last Black Friday deals. I visited Home Depot website to see what was available. To my surprise, the Chest Top and Bottom where listed at 700.00. I saved it to my cart. It was confusing as I read the product description, as it seemed incomplete. Then it disappeared from my cart altogether.
Later the same afternoon, I found it there, same as before, showing the picture of the two items with no description for 700.00. I decided to risk it not really knowing if I was getting the top chest with the bottom or just 1 item. I called Customer service after I ordered it and they didn’t even know. Maybe a glitch?
Delivery day. The items came in 6 days. Both the top and the bottom, which sort of shocked me since the set at that time ran for almost 1700.00.
I’ve had it since this fall. I have to say I am very pleased with it. The construction seems solid. It moves easily around the shop, The drawers are smooth and the soft close is a nice touch. I was debating on going with Matco or Snapon, but with the $ I saved, I was able to purchase some pretty decent tools that have made things easier.
Extreamly satisfied.
