While looking for another M12 rotary kit, I found the Milwaukee heated hoodie kit marked down $149>$109 at HD.....with all the excitement with M12/M18 deals, this ought to keep you warmer this xmas. This is limited to in-store inventory and with the cold temps on the East coast, they are moving. The kit includes: hoodie, battery, charger,M12 adapter. IME the hoodie is not as warm as the jacket but is nice for wearing less bulk or adding layers. Cheaper than online prices

UPDATE: PRICE IS NOW $99

ONLINE, the hoodies are $99. For a bit more the HOODIE KITS in the store include the battery-charger-adapter meaning one could wear it warmly right out of the box, after paying :}.

Dropped another $10 to $99 in-store. My store only has the grays.

The M18 XC 4.0 battery plus M18 LED light also dropped $10 from $89 to $79. I see a pattern here.

Looked for a Small or Medium thinking the wife would love it as she is ALWAYS cold ... but could only find L, XL, etc ... Will check a couple other stores tomorrow.

Ok gotta ask How long does the battery last Using it in the heat mode?

Here's a video I watched a while back ... I'm thinking it was about 2 hours on high and a fully charged M12 battery ... can buy adapters for M18 batteries and to plug into cigarette lighter/power outlet in car

they really dont heat like that. it keeps me comfortable while working in 20deg weather with just it and a t shirt, but not "hot".

edit: ive only worn carhartt jackets for ever since i can remember. this keeps me just a little warmer, but much much thinner, so im much more flexible with it vs the carhartt.

Seems they only stock L-XL-2X in the stores I've been to. Might be able to get a price guarantee to save another ten bulks, thanks IGN

Here is a review I did on these....

Nice video review on the accessories and durability of the Milwaukee heated hoodie. Got the Milwaukee hoodie KIT for $99 to get my M12 collection started. The heated hoodie is lighter and more comfortable when working on out door tasks or unheated garages than the heated jacket but its definitely not as warm as the jacket. Its a tradeoff as expected since the jacket blocks the wind and retains the heat better. One could always add a thin wind breaker layer onto the hoodie to keep warmer. Overall its a well made hoodie with the heat on or off and I'm glad I added the hoodie after watching your video.

Checked them out the other day. The XL I tried on was just like most other hoodies I try, these seem just a bit short. I am 6' tall and standard build. My carhartt size is an XL tall. I love the concept but im going to wait for these to drop a bit more before I bite.

so with the 12v battery it wont do usb charging? best part of this for me i was thinking was the ability to charge my phone from a jacket.

Well Milwaukee's been a bit dumb with battery holsters. My 2nd gen men's JACKET got the better M12 holster w fuel gauge and USB plug. I don't think any of the hoodies got this in an effort to keep costs down. IMO they should all get the better holster. I bet you can source one on eBay, probably ~$30....or if you've got any Dewalt Max batteries that holster (which, again, you'd have to source) will power the Milwaukee gear & has 2 USB's
