Anyone here have them? What’s your thoughts? I’m in need of some longer picks and the ads for these make them look pretty good at a cheap price.

As most of Milwaukee stuff is Chinese now and picks do break I am concerned about replacements. No one local stocks them so would need to order new ones. I have shorter pick set from SnapOn (easy replacement), but not into spending the $$$ now

I don't have the Milwaukee ones, but a pick is a pick. If you put excessive force on them, they all eventually break. If you have a Milwaukee factory repair centre nearby, that would be where you warranty them if you can't find another place that sells them.

personally I don't like picks that have the big handles. I like a double ended (no handle) or a thin knurled handle with a threaded insert for changing out picks.

I have a drawer full of picks and scrapers of all shapes and sizes, including some dental picks (which are fantastic, BTW!) and odd shaped "spatula" type picks. Some of the dental picks have a thicker body with either knurling or grooves on them.

I buy cheap ones, because picks will eventually break, bend or get dull, and I'd rather have 50 different shaped picks than 10 nice ones.

I really like my Mac picks, not sure if they have the same ones in a longer version.

Look into Ullman, they seem to be OEM for longer style picks, small hard handles and some even have magnetic tips on the handles. I have a ton of them but reach for others mostly.

I picked up an ullman 8 piece long set from Zoro while making an order with a 20% coupon. Prices were already best around. I even jumped on a screwdriver magnetizer. I'm very happy with the quality.dbb6a458a1cf839f38d611009fd2d7d5.jpg

Thanks guys for the input. Both recommendations looked good but I ordered the uliman set this evening. A little longer and the knurling on the shaft was the difference. I’ll report back with my impressions when they come.

I'd like to get rid of these if anybody is interested. I bought them a few weeks back. Used two of them for a few minutes and decided they were way to big for what I needed. Each are over 10" long.

As promised here is my impression of the ultimate set

Hooks and picks are very sturdy and sharp. Handles are a little thin for my taste but I am used to my shorty SnapOn hard handles. plastic/rubbery material on the handles just feels weird to me. I hold picks low on the handle so the kneeling is a plus. Makes up for the hollow handle the end 1/4” or so

All in all a quality set at a good price and I would buy again
