Love this impact.
Went to use it today and didn't click so I changed battery, nothing again.
Then it took off? Went to take lug nuts off, wouldn't take one off.
Do these things wear out? I'm just a garage guy don't use it that much.
HELP

I'm a Milwaukee fan through and through, but their triggers are junk. I've had the electronics replaced twice on my Super Hawg, the first time was under warranty. Last month I threw away a M18 Fuel impact driver because I could replace it for less than I could fix it. I've also tossed a M12 Hackzall, M12 drill, and an M12 impact driver when they didn't work.

EDIT: I need to add that the M12 drill and impact were pre-Fuel. I didn't use them enough to wear them out because there was absolutely nothing impressive about them so when they quit, I didn't care. It just gave me an excuse to upgrade to the Fuel lineup.

You've had triggers fail on that many different tools? Dude - you have to think there might be something you're doing there, right?

(his problem doesn't sound like a trigger)

His is acting exactly like my Super Hawg did both times. Sometimes it took a couple of trigger pulls to get it going. The others, I don't know, they just stopped working so I tossed 'em. Except the M18 driver. It had quit the weekend before I picked up the Hawg the second time. I had already thrown it away, but the garbage man hadn't come yet. I asked about fixing it, they told me Milwaukee would charge a max $ amount of ???, but for $109 or something like that I could buy new. I had already ordered the M18 Surge so left the other in the shop trash can. If I could have pulled it out of the trash and got it fixed for $50 I would have. I'm not sure exactly what went wrong with the Hawg. The guy at Acme tools where I dropped it off told me the triggers fail quite a bit. They shipped it to Milwaukee and all of the electronics. trigger included, were replaced for $195.

I don’t understand the OP. Did it quit working or just couldn’t loosen a nut? If the latter, try a bigger battery.
