I bought this drill from Home Depot last Friday. At 50 years old, this is my first battery drill. I have been using corded drills my whole life, even 20 years as an electrician. The drill seems to be great, lots of power! But, I have noticed a loud grinding like noise when you let off the trigger. If it is under load it will not make the noise. It just makes the noise when not under load, just pulling the trigger and letting it go. It does it in both speeds. As far as I know, this may be completely normal. Just questioning it because the outer cardboard box had been opened and it was the only one left. They seem to be pretty popular here, so would appreciate any feedback.
