Hey, I emailed them about a year ago asking about this, and now here it is. They stole my idea. Dang it. Can't wait to see how much they cost. Very tempting to get, I like that it uses the same battery as the rest of the m12 lineup. Now they need a impact driver for 1/4 sockets.

Neither a 3/8 or 1/4 cordless ratchet is listed on Milwaukee's website, milwaukeetool.com, but I would love to pick up the 1/4" one when it's available, since I already have the M12 impact driver & 2 batteries.

I have the IR 3/8" cordless impact, but the battery is so bulbous & bulky I don't have enough clearance to use the tool half the time.

Anyone know of any specs on the 2456, especially stall torque?

Found it on google, just search milwaukee cordless ratchet, multiple listings show up. Looks to be 160 plus for the 1/4 drive and 180 plus for the 3/8. Guess what just went on my wish list for christmas, If I can wait that long.

Those prices don't mean anything as nobody has any in stock.

Looks pretty massive for a 1/4.
thats about the size most ratchets are going to be. thats small compared to the ingersollrand which has a giant dewalt style nicad battery on the bottom of it which makes it weird to use. the only one smaller than that is a skil electric ratchet which they dont make anymore. the ratchet seems big but the advantage is you don't have a air hose behind it.

too big. if the extended the shank/shaft it might be cool, but I could see that being hard to use on cars.
