If you wanted to get into their M12 stuff, that is a good deal. I have both of those items and they are really useful - not the best things on earth, but well made and plenty useful.

If I wasn't so heavily invested in the Milwaukee M18 system, the Dewalt String trimmer/blower combo for $249 seems pretty good.

DANG Another big miss with the HD deal of day



Now I just got an email on this though and decided to pass it along here. Maybe it might help somebody who is looking for a deal on some basic M12 tools

ACME Tool is discounting the 2498-24 4 pc set right now for $189 and there is an active $20 off code MILW2016 so the final price is $169

And this kit lists for $299 right now at HD

According to the Milwaukee web site this set has been upgraded to include the 2462 impact driver and that's normally $79 bare tool new along with the 2407-20 drill driver and 2420-20 Hackzall tool (both tools in todays $99 deal) and then they also toss in the older xenon bulb flashlight (not LED) and sells for $25 at HD and you still get the bag.

Pretty fair deal
