I have the 18v bandsaw and its awesome I'm sure the 12v would be a lot lighter and probably do 90% of what I do but I have other 18v Milwaukee tool so I went with it

I bought one a few months ago luv the thing cant ever see me dragging the corded portaband out of the van to do a conduit run again I can usually run the thing most of the day on one battery, it has a nice weight and balance my only complaint was that the kit only came with one battery and the spare cost me seventy dollars, feel that is a little pricey but over all seems to be taking the beating of an electricians daily abuse rather well unlike there radio which only made it a week before I broke the lcd screen

I put my hacksaw away.
I would say that the little M12 bandsaw is the handiest tool I use on a daily basis.
Works awesome on emt, small rigid and strut.
Cuts seal tight and thread rod.
I can not see going back to roughing with a hack saw.
