milwaukee m12 fuel vs ridgid/ryobi

I currently use Ridgid, but am seriously considering switching to Milwaukee. I would classify myself as an advanced diy'er, and for the most part I can get most things accomplished with my Ridgid tools, but my biggest complaint is the battery life ***** on all their batteries other than the 4.0ah, and I have had some issues with the batteries and going through the warranty is a huge hassle. I have read/heard that Milwaukee's m12 fuel lineup is more powerful than Ridgid/Ryobi's 18v lineup. I'm looking to switch battery platforms because I really don't want to drop another $100 into another Ridgid battery only to be let down again.

I am pretty sure I have settled on Milwaukee. My question is is Milwaukee's m12 fuel lineup powerful? Is the fuel line worth the extra cash over Milwaukee's brushed models?

Look into Milwaukee's Brushless Non Fuel tools...

I'm crazy about my Milwaukee 18V Brushless Compact Drill Driver...

Model #2701-22CT...

And $80.00 cheaper than the 18V Fuel...

I would stick with 18volt tools...more power, and longer run time...

I would definitely switch over, Milwaukee warranty is fast and easy, m12 batteries are fast charging and are long lasting.

The M12 line up has several different sizes of batteries from 1.5Ah to 4.0Ah

Warranty aside, are the m12 fuel tools better than ridgid 18v? I just don't want to sell my ridgid stuff and be let down going with 12v stuff.

You'll almost surely see a loss in battery life if you go from an 18v system to a 12v.

Just buy an extra battery and swap more often.
