Milwaukee m12 ratchet problem

Today I experienced a problem whilst using my cordless ratchet.
I used it on a few 8mm bolts and then the tool stopped working and I noticed the lights along the side were flashing. Not as they do when something is too tight but as I've recently found out lights 1/3 and 2/4 flash if the tool thinks its overheating, which it couldn't be because I had only started using it so I put the problem down to being dirt on the contacts between the tool and the battery..cleaned them up and problem solved the tool started working again.
That was until I noticed the small LED work light near the top of the ratchet was staying on constantly and was flashing but flashing randomly not in a pattern. Only been using this tool since January and was bought brand new in October. I'm just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem or am I going to have to go down the warranty route.

1&3 and 2&4 flashing alt is battery temp problem.

Poor temp terminal contact or a bad battery.

Yes it's fuel model and the 1/3 2/4 seems sorted it's now the small LED work light that's constantly on that's the problem.

Doesn't anybody except me live next to a Post Office. Throw the sucker into a flat rate box and send it off to Milwaukee. All of that takes about 5 minutes. Problem solved.
